National Authors Day!

In honor of national authors day, I thought this time we could watch (ahead of time) a few videos on creativity techniques for writers, and discuss them at our meeting - what techniques work for you?

I think writers tend to write what they like (or what they know - which might be what they've read?). That may mean you find yourself 100 pages into a draft of another teenage vampire story before you realize it, and NOW what do you do? If you get creative enough, it will be uniquely your own, even if it starts off as "just another ..."
