Writers Jumpstart Series

This is a super quick 40-minute "jump start" to get back to writing if you've been idle for a while, or get into it if you've been meaning to. This is an interactive remote/virtual meeting, but we hope to have it feel like meeting each other in person (participation is part of the fun, so cameras and mics on, unless you’re shy—then say hi in the chat!)

• 5 minutes – Welcome and quick intros (just your name and the last thing you wrote—or wanted to write)
• 10 minutes – We'll watch a short YouTube video together (screen-shared) on great writing advice
• 10 minutes – Guided discussion (with 2–3 specific questions)
• 10 minutes – Silent write-along prompt, optionally inspired by the video
• 5 minutes (optional) – people can read a line or two they wrote (but only if they want)
