The Virtue Circle: Frugality — Character and Self-Improvement
Location: Starbucks inside Target
Address: 88-01 Queens Blvd, Elmhurst, NY 11373
Length: 25 minutes
This is a meeting of The Virtue Circle, an in-person discussion group focused on developing one virtue or high-performance attribute at a time.
This week’s virtue is Frugality.
Definition: Make no expense but to do good to others or yourself; i.e., waste nothing.
Interpretation: Frugality means using money, time, energy, possessions, and attention carefully, so that they serve what is truly good instead of being wasted.
Action: Identify one small area of waste in your life and reduce it this week.
Frugality is an important virtue because resources are limited. When you waste less, you gain more freedom, more discipline, and more ability to do what matters. Frugality is not about being cheap. It is about using resources wisely and refusing to let waste control your life.
We will meet at the Starbucks seating area inside Target for a short, structured 25-minute discussion. Look for The Virtue Circle sign or notebook.
