Anders Zorn (1860–1920) fue el pintor sueco más destacado de finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX. Procedente de un humilde entorno rural, llegó a alcanzar fama internacional como retratista de reyes, políticos y otras celebridades de su tiempo. Fue uno de los creadores con mayor prestigio en Europa y Estados Unidos. La muestra incluye su producción española, con obras de Sevilla, Cádiz y Granada, y piezas que testimonian su amistad con Joaquín Sorolla o Ramón Casas

Anders Zorn (1860–1920) was the most prominent Swedish painter of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Coming from a humble rural background, he achieved international fame as a portraitist of kings, politicians, and other celebrities of his time. He was one of the most highly regarded artists in Europe and the United States. The exhibition features his Spanish works, including pieces from Seville, Cádiz, and Granada, as well as works that reflect his friendship with Joaquín Sorolla and Ramón Casas.
