Compound Art Factory & Facilities Tour

Details
Are you a creative, artist, writer, designer... and need a place to be inspired? We have a one studio available as well as lockers for those who don't need studio space. Come by the gallery at 5pm sharp for a tour of our facilities and see what we are all about and answer any of your questions! We can show you our facilities in: letterpress, etching, screen printing, ceramic lab, 3d printers, laser cutters, sew lab, wood shop, art library, risograph and more! The tour will take about 30min-60min depending on how many people are there and how many questions you have. Please RSVP because we only hold tours if we know people are coming. We will meet at our gallery and walk over to the studios around the corner.
We currently have private studios, semi private studios, and locker space available. *Please do not be late because once we leave the gallery there will be no way to join the tour.
The Studios at The Compound Gallery is reviewing applications for studios, benches, and lockers. Our studios and facilities are in a beautiful sunlight filled 18,000 sq ft. building in Emeryville and we are very excited to tour our space. Our members get 24/7 access to our amazing equipment, incredible location and a fantastic professional artist community! We have a couple studios available for those who want dedicated space and we offer locker and bench access to artists who just need a place to keep some supplies but still want to engage with the community. We are located right across from Doyle Hollis Park in Emeryville.
All Compound artists have 24/7 access to our art facilities. We like to think of the Compound Studios as a school without the "school", an egalitarian art facility where all members have access to the space and equipment for art making. If you want a workspace where you can paint, throw pottery, screen print, do some woodworking, sew with industrial machines, make posters on letterpresses, use giant etching presses, photograph your work, lounge in a hammock, spin records relax in the Sunset lounge and engage with an incredible diverse group of artists, then this place is for you!
