VCN Creative Open Mic: "Brave Creative Changes Lives"

Welcome to London's Creative Open Mic session. Film makers, animators, designers and creatives of all kinds are invited to grab the mic and contribute their opinions and ideas – or just kick back, meet new people and enjoy the action.

This event will be exploring how changing the world takes bold creative decisions. Leaving your comfort zone, pushing the boundaries – and taking clients along with you – is a challenge all creatives face. How you respond to the challenge could be the difference between going with the flow or turning the tide.

Richard's company, Tiny Giant, describe creative AI as a brilliant way to kickstart mind-bending adventures. He'll be taking us on some of those adventures tonight.

Ashley Cowan, CEO and Darren Emerson, CCO VR City and East City Films
With a history of award-winning, brave documentary making, Ashley and Darren will be introducing their amazing new VR documentary before it premiers this Summer.

Nicolas Butty, Founder & Creative Director at The Thing TV
Nicolas will be talking about his award winning campaign 'Out in 60', Viacom's first global, cross-brand and multi platform campaign. He will be talking us through the inspiration behind it as well as its challenges, wins and lessons.

It all takes place in the rear room of The Strongroom, our favourite Shoreditch bar. It has a huge screen and a cellar full of the best craft beer in London. What's not to love?
