Eastside Potluck + Healthy Breakfast Hacks

Come to meet new friends and get a wide variety of delicious vegan food. Our program for this month is Healthy Breakfast Hacks and Group Discussion with longtime NW VEG volunteer, Jill Schatz.
Jill will demonstrate her 5-minute Chocolate Chia Pudding recipe, plus talk about other quick and easy breakfast ideas. Then – what’s for breakfast in your house? Let’s all share our favorite ideas and techniques and go home and try something new for breakfast tomorrow! Afterward, Jill also loves to grow veggies and fruits in her veganic garden and will be bringing lots of her extra veggie starts to share; mainly tomatoes but a few other veggies and herbs.
You can come for the potluck at 5, the program at 6:15, or both.
For the potluck, please bring:
- A plant-based (no meat, eggs, dairy, honey, or other animal products) main dish, salad, or dessert
- A card listing its ingredients
- Plates and utensils for your use
If you come alone, figure the amount to serve 4-6; increase the amount 4 servings for each additional person in your party/family. We will have a program, TBD, starting at 6:15 following the potluck.
