Animal Law Week Reception: Rescue, Resistance, and the Rule of Law

The event will feature activist Zoe Rosenberg, who was sentenced to 90 days in jail for rescuing 4 sick chickens from Perdue's Petaluma Poultry slaughterhouse in California. Through discussion, historical artifacts, and community, we’ll explore how open rescue challenges industrial animal agriculture and advances justice for animals.
