This group seeks to bring together those interested in or currently living a compassionate vegan lifestyle for enjoyment and activities. Being Vegan is a journey in life and no two people travel it the same. So why not join and get to know a great group of people who are walking the same path. Northwest VEG is back offering classes again, with a new course providing:
- Six cooking/food prep demos by excellent instructors, with lots of delicious samples
- Health and Wellness presentation by Iris Schrijver, M.D., certified Lifestyle Medicine physician, international speaker, and wellness author
- Nutrition: The Importance of Plant Foods presentation by Dr. Daniel Redwood, D.C., Director of Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine at the University of Western States
- The Huge Environmental Impact of Animal Agriculture presentation by environmental scientist Peter Spendelow, Ph.D.
- More presentations on kitchen basics, and the social/practical aspects of plant-based eating with regard to family, travel, and more
