• Talk #1: Liron Ratzabi - Kinect For Windows SDK *

Kinect is the famous Xbox camera, based on Israeli 3D sensing technology from Primesense (acquired by Apple for $360M). Kinect lets you track users' movement and gestures, integrate voice control, and a bunch of additional features that seem borrowed from a sci-fi flick.

We will get an introduction to Kinect for Windows SDK key features with some cool demos, learn about the new APIs and app model, and explain all you need to know to get started building applications using the brand new Kinect for Windows v2 sensor.

Target audience: Developers, designers and entrepreneurs who want to think of the next generation of interfaces with screen, with natural movements instead of our keyboard and mouse.

About the speaker: Liron is a full-stack senior consultant and instructor at SELA group. He's a Microsoft MVP - a title for exceptional technology community leaders who actively share high quality expertise with users and Microsoft.

• Talk #2: Mark Shovman - The Roadmap to AR"

The VR revolution is here; the AR revolution is next. What is the AR we dream of? How will the world look once it's here? And, more practically, what needs to be done to get us there?

Target audience: investors, entrepreneurs, developers, business researchers and reporters who want to get a better overview of where to invest your money and time, and the general trends in the VizTech industry for the next few years.

About the speaker: Mark is a resarcher and lecturer on the edge of cognitive science and computers. He works at EyeWay vision, developing next generation AR displays. Mark teaches at Hebrew University and the new Reality+ program in Bezalel.

The new Xbox One S is not even out in Israel yet. Thanks to Microsoft, you will have a chance to be among the first in Israel to try it out at VizTech & Games. 3 years after the release of its predecessor Xbox One, the Xbox One S is smaller, more powerful, and introduces various performance and feature improvements, like bluetooth controller connectivity and 4k video output. Is it cool enough to trade up? You be the judge.
