Breast Cancer Survivors - Try Dragon Boat Paddling at Vancouver Lake!

Details
Are you a breast cancer survivor in the Southwest Washington area?
Do you know a survivor who may be ready for a new adventure?
Catch-22 is a dragon boat team that practices on Vancouver Lake. Our team members include women, men, and a breast cancer division. We all paddle as one team. Our BCS group is a tight knit group athletes who support each other on and off the water.
Our breast cancer division participates in special races, has social events, and even raced in New Zealand in 2023 for an international race! The Paddle For life dragon boat races, held in August, were the inaugural event that will be held every year to benefit local breast cancer survivors who are involved in dragon boating.
Dragon Boat paddling provides many benefits for survivors, both physical and emotional. You can begin this sport at your own pace, and not worry about being a "super" athlete to start. One of the best things about paddling is the experience of just being on the water, and enjoying the friendship of your teammates.
When you're ready, your coaches will encourage you to set goals and push yourself to accomplish them. This sport is a great all body workout, and you will have a great time sweating with your teammates!
Come join us and see if dragon boating is the sport for you! You’ll get information about our team, a paddling session on the water, and a chance to ask any questions you might have.
Dress in layers (avoid cotton clothing) and bring water, everything else is provided.
