.NET Aspire: The New Excitement in Cloud-Native Development by Marco Wagner
NET Aspire is an opinionated stack for building resilient, observable and configurable cloud-native applications with .NET.
It simplifies development through Docker Orchestration with .NET and
connecting disparate applications and microservices (without YAML and
little Docker knowledge). An out-of-the-box central developer dashboard
with all the information and control you need in one place. With the
integrations, commonly used services are available as standardised
packages. It adds a great configurable set of tools with a basic
configuration to your applications. And last but not least, it makes it
easy to deploy to the cloud.
I will show everything in this talk in a practical existing project, a
larger project and also in non .NET applications to demonstrate all the
benefits.
Career Refactoring by Linus Metzler
Since 2008, I have been developing for the web—first as a hobby, then as a side job, and for many years now as a full-time self-employed full-stack developer and employed backend developer. The web is constantly evolving, and staying relevant means adapting our jobs as well.. After many years as a developer, my role, focus, and responsibilities have shifted significantly over the past year and a half. Sooner or later, every developer will not only ponder the meaning of life but also reflect on their own career path. Perhaps my journey can serve as inspiration for your own.
