VlbgWebDev: Symfony AI & OpenClaw
Details
“I don’t know yet what I’m talking about – but I’m very excited about it” - Johannes Wachter
An honest talk about symfony/ai
The symfony/ai ecosystem is evolving so fast that even the developers themselves can’t guarantee what will have changed by the time the meetup rolls around.
I’m currently working intensively on various parts of this open-source project – on ai-mate (an MCP server for PHP/Symfony), on Stores (because AI needs to put its data somewhere) and on RAG Systems (because we all know that LLMs without context just hallucinate).
Which of these topics will I actually present on the evening? As of now: unclear. Possibly all three. Possibly a fourth one will have emerged by then.
What is guaranteed: a hands-on look at the latest developments around AI integration in the Symfony world – from someone who is right in the middle of it, rather than just reading about it.
OpenClaw: Looking beyond the hype — How to make it your productive partner and universal assistant - Matthias Winkler
In this session, we’ll move past the AI hype cycle and show how OpenClaw turns LLMs into reliable, action-taking assistants for daily workflows. We’ll explore the core agent architecture, memory model, and practical automation patterns behind consistent execution. Expect hands-on examples from real life use cases such as digital file management and assistant-driven routine operations.
