I will start by discussing what Recommender Systems are and why they are so widely used by e-commerce businesses.
Then we will have a look at the most popular algorithms and I'll try to convey a general intuition for them by diving into the details of the Item-Similarity Recommender.
I'll conclude with an example for how we use Recommender Systems within Novomatic.
