Managing Complexity for Cloud Platform Resources

Details
Our team is building a common cloud console platform used by various VMware Services. The platform, like any other cloud entity, is drowning in an ever-growing pool of resources. Currently services are managing those resources in a separate and independent fashion, leading to duplication of efforts, lost experience, and reliving mistakes.
To tackle this time-ticking bomb, during one of our regular internal innovation events, the team started building a project that streamlines the management of infrastructure and native resources via versioned and replicable code through a custom Terraform provider.
In this talk, we want to share our experience in leveraging new technologies to resolve complex challenges and encourage you to try it yourself, as it might work out.
