What is Voice Box Stories & Serenade
A once-a-month story event with a musical twist. Started in 2013 at FitzGerald’s Night Club in Berwyn IL. By Maureen Muldoon and Cathy Richardson.

Voice Box Mission

It’s a story. It’s a song. A Serenade. A surrender. A place to be heard and hear about the human condition. It’s the old-school front stoop and the modern-day confessional where folks like us come to connect, spin, weave and unfurl. Where a story leads to a song, and a song leads to a conversation. And the beat goes on, and out, and up, and your feet tap to the rhythm. Your head nods in agreement. And your heart pounds in anticipation for the chance to share your voice.

Storytellers
All storytellers are invited to share a story on the theme, and the story should be 6-12 minutes (no longer or shorter). Personal stories.
