A Vocal Technique Clinic for vocalists of all styles and backgrounds.
Gain a clear understanding of vocal mechanics as you develop your instrument through directed exercises and personalized guidance. Explore rigorous vocal training in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Who:
For singers, poets, storytellers, comedians, seasoned & emerging activists, protectors, survivors, lovers, anybody looking for home in their own voice or navigating a shifting vocal landscape

What:
- Help you sing & throw voice more freely
- Increase access to your whole vocal instrument
- Help you locate & tap into unused sources of vocal power
- Facilitate strategic unwinding of the body & spirit for freer expression
- Address the somatics of physical tension in places like the jaw, shoulders, throat, knees and hips

- Downtown loft/music & mvmnt studio in the Arts District

What to wear & bring?
- please wear something comfortable for you. We will be engaging in light movement, strategic stretching, still postures, and breath coordination exercises
- yoga mat (if possible)
- a song/work in progress if you are working on something

- less than 10 steps to get into the building
- loft is kept at about 70 degrees
