Hi everyone 🏐
In May 2026, Smashing Expats volleyball sessions will take place in a games-focused format, organized strictly based on confirmed participation through payment.
Each session will start with one short drill introduction, followed by volleyball games for the rest of the evening.
To make this possible in a fair, predictable, and sustainable way, clear RSVP rules, payment deadlines, and minimum payment numbers apply. Please read the full description carefully before signing up.

## πŸ“Œ Session Format (May 2026)

  • One short drill introduction to set the theme
  • Volleyball games for the remaining of the session
  • Focus on play, rhythm, and enjoyment
  • Suitable for regular Smashing Expats players

## πŸ“ Locations & Minimum Payments Required

To cover gym rental costs and ensure we can play proper games, the following minimum number of completed payments is required:

  • Putseplein 20, Rotterdam
    β†’ minimum 18 paid participants
  • Zwaartewaalstraat 38-1, Rotterdam
    β†’ minimum 10 paid participants

A session is only confirmed if the minimum number of payments (€6,00) is received by the payment deadline.

## ⏰ RSVP & Payment Deadlines (Important)

Each May session has a fixed RSVP deadline of 6 days before the event.
Payment must be completed no later than 5 days before the event.
These deadlines allow us to:

  • confirm the gym rental,
  • verify whether the minimum number of payments is reached,
  • and make a clear decision in time.

## πŸ”” What happens after the deadlines

  • If the minimum number of payments is reached
β†’ the session is confirmed, and sign-ups close.
  • If the minimum number of payments is NOT reached
β†’ the session will be cancelled in time, and all payments made will be fully refunded.

There are no walk-ins and no late sign-ups after the payment deadline.
