Hi everyone ๐
Join us for our Monday mixed volleyball session with Smashing Expats Rotterdam, played at a net height of 2.35 m.
The session combines training and games, with exercises focused on team play, positioning, communication and game situations before moving into volleyball games.
Both men and women are welcome to participate.
The session is intended for intermediate and recreational players with previous volleyball experience. You should already understand the basic rules, positions and techniques of volleyball.
You do not need to be a member of a competition team to participate. Single-entry participation is available.
## ๐ Mixed volleyball and team opportunities
For the 2026/2027 season, Smashing Expats has two mixed competition teams:
๐ XR1, competing in the Poule A Mixed Competition
๐ XR2, competing in the Poule A Mixed Competition
Our Monday mixed sessions are open to players who want to enjoy volleyball, improve their skills and meet other players without immediately committing to a competition team.
We are also interested in meeting experienced players who may want to join one of our mixed teams.
We are particularly looking for female players interested in the following positions:
- Middle Blocker (MB)
- Setter
- Opposite
Players interested in joining XR1 or XR2 are welcome to introduce themselves during the session so we can get to know each other on court.

Smashing Expats is more than a place to play volleyball. We combine good volleyball, player development and an international community.

Some players join individual sessions, others train regularly, participate in tournaments or join one of our NEVOBO competition teams.

We welcome expats, international students, interns, visitors, local residents and volleyball enthusiasts from different backgrounds.

- Your place is confirmed only after payment.
## โฐ RSVP and payment
Please RSVP and complete payment before the deadline stated in the event comments.
Participation depends on completed payment, not only on your RSVP.
There are no walk-ins or late sign-ups after the payment deadline.
By participating in a Smashing Expats event, you confirm that you have read and agree to follow the Smashing Expats rules, community guidelines and event arrangements.
Participants are expected to respect the organisers, other players, the venue and the Smashing Expats DNA.
