Volo Basketball Pickup - Coed

Welcome to Volo Basketball Pickup! This self-reffed pickup is the best way to get back into basketball shape and meet fellow ballers! We have capacity for at least three teams per court so you can enjoy any of our formats to fullest. Whether you decide to play with subs or rotate teams in a round robin format is up to you! Our hosts on site are there to help if you need guidance.

Basic Rules & Formats

• Format and teams will be decided on site depending on number of registrations but can range from 3v3 to 5v5
• Players line up to shoot free throws. The first players to make it, will comprise the first team.
• Games played for 15 min (running clock) or first to 21. Score by 1s and 2s. (Winning team stays on for 2 games max)

Basketball Skill Levels:

• Beg/social level - this level is for players with no prior experience playing the sport, best for players who want to improve and try a new sport, for anyone looking to make friends, and are primarily there to have fun!
• Intermediate level - this level is for players who have played before and are seeking a little more competition. Players at this level have a good understanding of the rules and have the basic skills down.
• Adv/Comp - this level is for players looking for a competitive game. This level is only meant for players who have experience playing this sport and are looking for the highest level of play. Players playing at this level likely played at the varsity high school or college level, or consistently play well and are ready to level up from another division.
• All levels - this level welcomes all skill levels and gives players opportunities to grow skills together at mixed level.

Note: Should there be a change to the pickup (ie venue closure), players will be notified on whether the program will run at least 90 minutes prior to the start of the program via email, but we will let you know as soon as we know and try to recommend other options if available.

Arrive Early for Check-In
Arrive up to 10 minutes before your game time for check-in. Each individual is required to scan their QR code in the app before every game.
QR Code Scan: Players are required to download the Volo App and present the QR code associated with their league to the host on site. Already have the Volo App? Make sure you have updated to the latest version. Download now for iOS or Android.
Turn On Push Notifications
