Paddles with a Purpose Tournament

Volo is excited to partner with Quickleball for our very first Fundraiser Pickleball Tournament at North Park Recreation Center! Our goal is to raise $4,000 to repaint four new permanent pickleball court lines on the tennis court.

North Park Rec Center is an integral part to the San Diego community, bringing together people of all ages to enjoy art, sports, and recreation. Repainting four new permanent pickleball court lines will allow members of the community to have access to more pickleball and more fun!

Join us for a morning of competition and face off against teams from all across San Diego, whether you're brand new to Volo or have Champ headbands galore, the more the merrier. We will have raffles and music on site, as well as tacos catered by The Heights Street Tacos & Catering!

All proceeds from this tournament will be donated to the Recreation Center and will be put towards repainting the tennis courts!

This tournament will be a COMPETITIVE MIXED DOUBLES tournament. One male and one female/non-binary player per team.
*Competitive will be designated as 4.0-5.0

What you need to know:

• When: April 27th at 10:00am, expected end time: 3:00pm
• Where: North Park Recreation Center
• What: Pickleball, 4 games guaranteed - top 20 teams will advance to the playoffs
• Who: Mixed Doubles Teams - you can sign up with your partner as a prepaid team or join as a free agent and we will assign you a partner.
• Sponsor Bar with drink deals for after the games: Coin-Op Game Room
• Players are encouraged to bring their own paddles, but we will have extras on site - pickleballs will be provided

Prizes for the Tournament Champs include:

• Brand New Pickleball Net
• $80 Blenders Eyewear Gift Card for Each Player (2 total)
• $25 Volo Credits
• Volo Champ Headgear

Your registration also includes one raffle ticket that can be put toward Blenders Eyewear gift cards, Volo swag bags, and more! Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase onsite.

**Cancellations will be allowed until APRIL 7th at 11:59pm and players will be able to receive their registration fees back as Volo Credits. Any cancellations AFTER APRIL 7th will not be refunded/credited - your registration fee will be donated to North Park Recreation Center.**
