Volt Amsterdam: Progressive Politics, Connected Community
Volt Amsterdam works on practical, evidence-based solutions to the city’s biggest challenges - from housing and safety to climate, equality, and mobility. We are part of Volt, Europe’s first pan-European political movement and bring together people from many backgrounds who care about Amsterdam’s future.
We believe politics should be open, curious, and cross-border, learning from what works in other European cities and applying it locally. You don’t need to be a political expert, speak perfect Dutch, or be politically active already - just an interest in making the city work better.
Our meetups are informal, international-friendly spaces to connect with neighbours and exchange perspectives. We want to hear what you’re experiencing in Amsterdam: what’s working, what isn’t, and what you’d like to see changed - and explore together how those experiences can shape the city’s future.
