Join The Literacy Connection & the Gail Borden Library Foundation for our second annual Poetry and Literacy Festival! This afternoon & evening event at Elgin Community College in Elgin, IL will feature workshop learning and guest speakers, as well as an open mic and Poetry Slam. All are invited to be a part of this celebration of National Poetry Month while raising important funds for our adult literacy work in the community.

3:00 PM - Family Poetry Workshop led by Diego Baez
3:00 PM - Bilingual Poetry Workshop led by Karla Rojas
4:00 PM - Poetry Workshop led by Chasity Gunn
5:00 PM - Guest Speaker Julian Randall
6:00 PM - Open Mic & Poetry Slam
**All events will take place at Elgin Community College, Building F.**

Tickets: Tickets are on sale now! Purchase tickets at a special Early Bird rate until April 1. Student rate tickets are also available.
The first 50 people to purchase day passes will receive tote bags stuffed with goodies!
