Sewists!? Help Make sewn face coverings for civic gathering participants

Details

We have a project we can safely do from our homes!

Do you sew?! We are making sewn face coverings to distribute to people exercising their civic duty to alert our community and government to social injustices. We are making 100% premium cotton 2 ply face coverings in a nice dark green color with elastic that secures around the back of the head.

All materials are provided. We have complete kits of materials available for our volunteers (including thread!).

If you would like to join us to sew (and have a sewing machine!) please join us on this call to understand more how to help!

This is a distributed (no-touch) making effort where you would pick up materials at a location, sew at home or your workshop, then drop off the masks to the same location. We have weekly zoom calls scheduled for Q&A and hanging out!

The pick-up/drop off location for materials/masks is in east Longmont (County Line road and 9th ave) at any time AND Monday's 10am at the Boulder Home Depot.

You do not need to live in Longmont to participate*

There are additional Pickup/Drop off Hubs**
DTC
Broomfield
Golden
Denver
