Civil Servant for the Municipality of The Hague, Randy Heuschen, will give a presentation on how to feel at home in The Hague by becoming an active international resident in your neighborhood.

After spending 15 years abroad and living in six different countries, Randy Heuschen has returned to the Netherlands and now works for the Municipality of The Hague. In this interactive session, he shares his personal journey of adapting to new cultures, what helped him feel at home, how he got involved locally, and what it means to stay true to yourself while integrating into a new community.

Drawing from his experiences as both an expat and a civil servant, Randy will provide insights into how the Municipality of The Hague supports international residents, and how you can get your voice heard and play an active role in your city. Whether it’s through volunteering, starting your own neighborhood initiative, or simply connecting with others, there are many ways to make a positive impact.

This workshop is a space for connection, reflection, and action. Come ready to share your experiences, ask questions, and discover how you can get more involved in shaping your life, and your neighborhood in The Hague.

This presentation will take place during Volunteer The Hague's Mix & Match Volunteer Job Fair on Saturday, 29 November. Register today as spaces are limited.
