[NYC H2O] Plumb Beach Cleanup Saturday Sept. 23rd

Make a Difference: Protecting wetlands protects human, avian and marine life!

Bus transportation will be provided from Union Square leaving at 9 am for a $5 fee.

We will have an optional ecology lesson with a marine biologist after the cleanup. We will use a seining net to catch critters that live in Jamaica Bay and put them in jars with water to study them before returning them to the water.

Lunch, gloves, garbage bags and pickers will be provided.
