Ready for an adventure just outside Prague? Lace up your boots and join our group hike to the majestic Karlstejn Castle and the fascinating America quarries!
Explore the impressive Karlstejn Castle, a stunning Gothic masterpiece built by Emperor Charles IV. Then We'll also venture to the intriguing "America" quarries, often called the "Czech Grand Canyon." Witness the dramatic landscapes and learn about the area's mining history.

Itinerary:
9:00 – Meeting at Prague Main Train Station (Praha hlavní nádraží) at Wilsonka cafe
9:20 – Departure by train to Karlštejn Travel time ~40 min.
10:00- - Short outside visit of Karlštejn Castle Focus on Well Tower and surroundings from the outside. No inside tour.
10:45 – Start hiking towards quarries Malá Amerika (Small America) Quarry Mexiko Quarry Velká Amerika (Big America) Quarry Arnika Cave and Solvay Quarry area.
13:00 – Hike continues towards Svatý Jan pod Skalou
15:00 – Arrival at Svatý Jan pod Skalou Explore the Monastery area. Visit Cave of St. Ivan (if open). Have lunch in a local pub/café.
16:00 – Departure by bus from Svatý Jan pod Skalou to Prague
