Golda Harris Rose Removal Round 2

Our first project at Golda Harris park was a huge success! We wrapped a lot of cotton woods to protect them from beavers and removed a lot of invasive rose but there's still more to do, so we're headed back on 3/15/2025. Bring thick gloves if you have them!

Afterwards we will head to Mother Earth Brewery to raise glasses AGAIN in honor of the woman who brought joy to our amazing community!

Golda Harris Park is one of the “Ribbon of Jewels” along the Boise River established to commemorate prominent women of Boise. It is made up of approximately 3 acres and includes natural pathways, seating, interpretive signage and wildlife viewing areas.
