Stop the Black Bear Trophy Hunt - Rally Hosted by Bear Defenders this Sat

At its meeting next week (Aug 13, 14) the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission's (FWC) will decide whether there will be a black bear trophy hunt in Florida this fall.
Trophy hunting black bears is an awful idea.
There’s no scientific basis for a hunt - research does NOT support claims that bear populations have exceeded their habitat’s capacity.
Trophy hunting is NOT the answer. Killing bears for sport disrupts their social and reproductive structures and undermines public respect for wildlife.
