Details

Vonnegut's first novel after achieving widespread fame, Breakfast of Champions is the story of the mental crisis of Dwayne Hoover, a businessman in the fictional Midland City, Ohio, but Vonnegut covers a lot of ground with digressions on the nature of free will, on suicide, and myriad criticisms of 20th century American culture. Breakfast of Champions is also famous for being peppered with numerous illustrations.

For Vonnegut enthusiasts, initiates, and the unacquainted; anyone interested in reading thoughtful and entertaining science fiction/literature with a humanistic bent.
