Voorhees Charity and Philanthropy Meetup Group

This group is being formed with the intention of starting a Lions Club in the Voorhees & Gibbsboro NJ area.

If you enjoy participating in community events, including fundraisers for local charities & networking events, then this group is for you! When you join the Lions Club, you typically enjoy the following:

1. Attend monthly dinner meetings to socialize & participate in planning local community events.
2. The club works with local businesses to collect used eyeglasses to donate to those in need.
3. Socialize with the club at various events planned throughout the year
4. Make new friends all while giving back to your community.

*Lions Club International Members make us the world's largest service club organization. We're also one of the most effective. Our members do whatever is needed to help their local communities. Everywhere we work, we make friends. With children and adults who need eyeglasses, with those who we collect food for in the community, and with people we may never meet. Our global causes are Diabetes, environment, hunger, childhood cancer, and vision.
