Monthly VR/AR MiXR - Women + Allies

A monthly continuation of the VR/AR Collective mixer event. Let's get together, meet new faces and talk virtual/augmented reality.

This month's event is meant for women, plus men who are accompanying women as their guests.

If you are a man and you want to attend, you can:

1. Ask a woman you know is attending if you can be her +1
2. Invite a woman in your life who might be interested in VR or AR, have her RSVP to the event, and be her +1

If you are a man and have RSVP'd directly, you will be removed from the RSVP list - no exceptions.

We had an amazingly successful meetup last month and got a lot of really great comments from attendees that the atmosphere was friendly, open and fun, so we're going to take women + allies approach a second time.

Thank you to CoMotion for hosting us in their brand new VR/AR incubator! CoMotion's incubator opens on August 15th and we are the first group to tour and use their space. :)

Our meetup group is a safe, inclusive, recruiting-free space. You must RSVP to get into the event. Professionals, academics, students and enthusiasts are all welcome. Some of our attendees are women working professionally in VR or AR, this is a great networking opportunity. Actively recruiting at our events without prior permission is a big no-no. (Are you a recruiter? Come because you're interested in the field, not because you want to pitch your open positions.)
