Designers, developers, clinicians, medical educators, please join us at the Behrakis Health Sciences Center for an exciting event on creating XR experiences for medical education!

Dr. Jacobson will outline the development process for creating XR-based training simulations, from needs assessment with stakeholders, design collaboration with clinical instructors, hardware selection, software development, iterative improvement while piloting, mature deployment, and impact evaluation. We will look at a couple of examples from his team’s experience at Boston Children’s Hospital and talk a bit about trends in the medical segment of the XR-for-training market.

This talk is brought to you by medVR and hosted by David Tamés, Department of Art + Design, Northeastern University.
