About this Event
It’s time to JAM!
The VR Austin Jam brings local, national, and international creators together to collaborate on new AR/VR content every fall. Over the course of a weekend attendees will create new VR/AR experiences in teams or as individuals, and we’ll show off completed projects to the public at the Showcase on Monday evening.
This year VR Austin is headed back to campus for the FIFTH annual VR Austin Jam! We’re excited to announce that the Jam will take place at the University of Texas at Austin, sponsored by the Department of Arts and Entertainment Technologies.

The VR Austin Jam is a fun, safe, collaborative space, where brilliant creative people of all types and levels get together to make mind-blowing experiences. If you want to make VR or AR animations, games, films, or experiences, we invite you to attend! Meet new people, learn new things, and be a part of the vibrant immersive reality development scene in Austin, TX.

The jam this year will be at the DEPARTMENT OF FINE ARTS BUILDING located:

SCHEDULE
Friday, November 15th -- Load-in Night (6 to 8PM)
Saturday, November 16th -- Jam (10AM to 10PM)
Sunday, November 17th -- Jam (10AM to 10PM)
Monday, November 18th -- Showcase -- open to the public! (7PM to 10PM)
REGISTRATION
We have limited space for VR jammers, so grab your tickets ASAP to secure a spot to join the jam!
The showcase on Monday night is open to the public for a small entry fee. However, as a jammer you will be able to access the event for no additional charge!
