Modern Python web services, and other fun Open Source things

Join us for a night of fun with modern web services in Python.
We'll review terminology, and then we'll run an example web service that you get to take home.

Registration is required, and anonymous registration will not be allowed. Recruiting at this event is not allowed. Pizza and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.

This is a great opportunity to come and ask any related questions you may have about Open Source software, or tech in general. Whether you are new to tech or a seasoned geek, this event is for you!

Please bring a laptop if you have one, and install the latest Python3 and MongoDB Community Edition ahead of time if you can. If you need installation help, please arrive at 5PM, and we'll spend the first 30 minutes walking through installation. Also note that the network may be glitchy, so attempting installation ahead of time is a good idea.
