What we’re about

The concept is simple – we volunteer with a different nonprofit organization in Baltimore on the second Saturday of every month from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, then spend the afternoon at a local bar for food, drinks, networking, and fun with everyone who volunteered.

This program was created to give young professionals the opportunity for inspiring, rewarding and impactful experiences that will help forge a passion for future volunteering – both with our organization and on their own. Volunteering Untapped was born out of the realization that young professionals in Baltimore want to give back to their community, but simply don’t know the best way to get involved. We solve that problem.

Volunteering should be easy. Now it is.

Join us for our first 2026 event, and kick off another great year of #voluntbeering! We're starting the year with The Loading Dock!

The Loading Dock, Inc. (TLD) the nation's first successful, self-sufficient, nonprofit building materials reuse center, packed with new and used items and architectural salvage. The nonprofit was established in 1984 as a way to help counteract the waste in the building industry and help be a part of the solution to poor housing conditions. From home renovations to rental property upkeep, The Loading Dock is an incredible resource for our community to turn to.

Join us on Saturday, January 10th, when we will be assisting the team at TLD with a range of activites which could include:
- General Site Maintenance
- Outdoor Cleanup
- Sorting
- Hauling
For day-of: the team has suggested dressing in warm layers, and boots if you have them (sneakers will work, just be sure to watch those toes when you're working). Parking will be available in the on-site lot.
