May 2022 grand picnic meetup!

We are kicking off 2022 meetup season in style!

We have a real treat prepared for those of you who have been missing in-person events!

As you may know we are a part of the Ljubljana Tech Community initiative, and we have now joined forces with three other meetups (Backend developers, Python and Go) to organise the event of the season: two tracks (frontend and backend), 5 talks and lightning talks! (which you still have time to sign up for, by the way)

We will gather on Monday 16. 5. at 17:30 at Bistro Svicarija. We hope you can stay for food and drinks after the talks.

Frontend talks

Edin Ćeman (HiGroup) - NuxtJs & i18n
We got presented with a problem of creating a headless ECommerce store with multiple markets and multiple languages per market. In this talk we will go through how we used i18n library, Nuxt and GraphCMS to achieve the no-refresh page translation and product switching page based on the selected option, what problems we faced and what have we discovered it was the easiest implementation for us.

Đani Pavić (Infinum) - Reactive programming in Angular
Learn how and why you should utilize reactive programming in Angular, using RxJS. The talk will cover basic concepts from reactive programming and will include a demonstration of how to implement search functionality in a reactive way. Disclaimer: "reactive" in this context has nothing to do with the React library, although you could use RxJS in React or any other framework as well :)
