Tuesday April 12th **In Person** Vue.js LA Meetup!

Hey All!

We've got a great Meetup coming up on Tuesday April 12th. Come out and play with your fellow developers! Should be another fun one at Funkhaus!

We have two talk this month. Come check them out:

• Understanding why Pinia is replacing Vuex for Vue 3.
• Using the Shopify API with Nuxt.

I. First off, I will be giving a brief talk on State Management in Vue 3. My presentation, Understanding why Pinia is replacing Vuex for Vue 3. I will explain what has changed from Vue 2 to Vue 3 (spoiler, it's the Composition API) and therefore, why the Vue.js community is migrating to a newly designed, lighter State Management system, Pinia, to complement the power of Vue.js 3.
Bio: Kobi Levy is a fullstack software developer, primarily working in Rails and Vue.js, and has been running the VuejsLA Meetup for the last few years.

II. For our 2nd talk, Derek Chiampas is going to give a presentation Using the Shopify API with Nuxt. As an Agency, Funkhaus has built numerous Nuxt/Shopify integrations, and Derek will discuss their latest approach to using the Shopify REST API.
