About us
This is a group of gravel bike riders that enjoy exploring known and new gravel and dirt roads in Arizona's Verde Valley area, including Sedona and Cottonwood.
Would you consider a membership in the VVCC? It only costs $35/year for an individual ($50 for family), and there are a lot of benefits with membership. In summary:
- Gravel, Mountain and Road group rides
- Monthly member events, including spring & fall picnics and an annual holiday party
- Access to our Ride With GPS club account (including turn-by-turn voice navigation on routes in our growing route library)

Full Moon Cherry Ride
Grief Hill Trailhead, W. Cherry Creek Road Camp Verde, Arizona Highway 260 & West Cherry Creek Road, Camp Verde, AZ, USFull Moon ride up to the Cherry graveyard from the grief hill trailhead. Parking, bathrooms etc at the trailhead.
Moonrise is about 6pm, so we should be riding about 7pm.
The ride is a 20ish mile out and back with about 2000ft of climbing.
Headlights required for the ride down, but Please no red flashing tail lights. Those things are meant for daylight visibility and are really obnoxious in a night group. Please get a glow stick or similar if you need a rear light.The link below is a slightly longer version of the ride, but it will give you the idea
