Grand Canyon Ride

Two scheduled rides leaving on 5/20 and 5/21 (or do some hiking on one of the days). Rides are out and back and will be 30-60 depending on how far you want to go. Some riders will be camping at Ten-X ($20 per night per campsite) while others may choose a hotel outside the park. Tex-X has bathrooms and water but no showers or electricity. There are coin-op showers at the Grand Canyon. Meals on your own. Bring snacks you can carry for lunch. Carpooling is recommended. Many riders drive up on 5/19 and spend two or three nights. On 5/20 we will meet at the Tusayan Greenway Trailhead at 10 AM and ride about 35 out to Hermit's rest and back. On the 5/21 riders stay at Ten-X Campgrounds and meet at the same spot and ride on East Rim Drive to Desert View Tower. That ride is about 60 and some riders may decide to cut the ride short. Some riders stay a third day for more riding or hiking.
