It is easy to get distracted by new AI tools, prompts, and features. A better starting point is the workflow itself: What are you trying to improve, where is the friction, and where could AI genuinely help?

Start With the Workflow, Not the Tool is a WA AI Hub meetup focused on practical experiences of using AI in real work. Hear short talks from WA practitioners, see honest workflow examples, and join structured conversations about what is working, what is challenging, and what teams have decided not to pursue.

No technical background is required.

## What we will do together

• Start with the workflow: Explore how to identify a real business or workplace need before choosing an AI tool.
• Hear real experiences: Listen to short talks and honest show-and-tell from WA practitioners using AI in their work.
• Walk through a real workflow: See how AI is being used within an actual process, including what worked and what did not.
• Join structured discussion: Share ideas and experiences in small-group conversations with people from different sectors.
• Take an idea back to work: Use the session prompt card to reflect on a workflow or challenge in your own context.

## Good to know

This is a community meetup, not a formal training session. The format combines informal networking, short talks, real-workflow walkthroughs, and structured conversation. You are welcome to bring a laptop or notebook, but no preparation is required.
