Weekly Evening Hike- Winter Multi-purpose Trail Hike- SilverCreek Metropark

We will be walking the Silver Creek multi-purpose trail, called Miner's Trail. 2.2 miles. This is a paved trail that does not go through the woods. Enter the park off of Medina Line Rd. Parking at Big Oak Area, which is on the right (the Boathouse parking is to the left, don't go there, go to the right). The parking lot is not lit. Tom and I will try to be there 10 min early.

January-March hikes are typically multipurpose/sidewalk trails. Some of the trails are Wadsworth Trolly Line All Purpose, Silver Creek Multipurpose, Ohio/Erie Towpath, Nimisila Reservoir Metro Park, Canton Stadium Park, etc. Weather conditions will be a factor and closely monitored. Winter Hikes will be 2-3 miles, easy terrain, mostly paved. Parking lots in most of these locations are dimly or moon lit. Lights highly recommended.
We will be alternating locations each week. After hiking, we typically grab a bite to eat.
Since there will be no event with under 3 participants, please sign up as soon as possible and be courteous and update your RSVP if you cannot make it. If you are running a few minutes late, let us know, we will wait for you.
