Nimisila Camp & Birds Kayak Adventure

We've stepped back for a year or so, but let's plan on kayaking Nimisila Reservoir right here in the Portage Lakes for the return of the Purple Martin Bird Migration. The campgrounds is beautiful, but rustic, so plan accordingly. We will kayak on Friday right before sunset to watch the birds settle in for the night. Option to go out on a sunrise paddle which is just as amazing. The water is like glass and the stillness takes your breath away. We will leave Saturday night paddle as an option in case weather or bird count isn't great.
Camp will be a large campfire, great food, lots of laughs and maybe some yard games. We will have our dog with us. Saturday day can be hiking, biking, exploring, more paddling or just resting - it is totally up to you.
