Waitakeres Retreat Weekend, Aio Wira, West Auckland

You’re invited to attend our very popular upcoming retreat weekend, Oct. 29-30, at the beautiful Aio Wira Retreat Centre in the Waitakere Ranges. It’s a lovely, quiet space surrounded by native forest and located only 10 minutes from Bethells Beach and the coastline trails.
The overnight weekend stay will cover a wide range of lifestyle positives: trail hikes on the Te Henga trail and around Lake Wainamu; time out on the nearby beaches; introducing meditation skills including music and mantras to still the mind; vegan and vegetarian food; fitness guidelines from our health pros.
The course itself is free, however the venue needs to charge for and cover accommodation costs and veg meals, both of which are relatively inexpensive. Accommodation is in very comfortable bunk rooms (4 people) and smaller units for one, two or three persons. We will confirm accommodation and food costs once we have final numbers, but it’s a very inexpensive and popular weekend.
This retreat requires that you have first attended one of our free introductory meditation courses (visit: www.meditationauckland.co.nz), as the weekend assumes some familiarity with our various meditation guidelines which we incorporate into our nature outings. We can accommodate 20 people at Aio Wira, and there are some tenting options if we get more participants.
The Aio Wira retreat is especially suited to those wanting to advance further and take health up to a new level, plus explore meditation skills and a spiritual lifestyle.
