Meeting at the Star Pub. We will walk through the country lane (South Lane) adjacent to the pub.
This will take approximately 15 minutes.
We will then walk around the edge of Coxley Valley, Stoneycliffe Wood nature reserve, which will take us around 1 hour 30 minutes, then back to the Star pub for drinks if you wish to do so.
Dogs welcome.

Please also be advised that you walk with the group at your own risk , we are not qualified to walk leaders, and the group does not have insurance.

🍺 UK OKTOBERFEST – THE TOURING BAVARIAN PARTY 🍺

Get ready for a night of bratwursts, pretzels, overflowing steins and enough oompah to blow your lederhosen off! UK Oktoberfest is hitting the road – bringing the biggest Bavarian party straight to your town.

Expect a full 6‑piece party brass band blasting out sing‑alongs, dance‑alongs and all‑night‑long shenanigans. There’ll be tables of friends clinking steins, bratwursts sizzling, pretzels the size of your head and dancing up on the benches.

Now, if we’re being fancy, the original Oktoberfest kicked off on October 12th, 1810 to celebrate the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig (later King Louis I) to Princess Therese of Bavaria.…but let’s be honest, we’re just using that as the perfect excuse for one massive German‑style knees‑up.

So if you’re after a night packed with fun, beer, music and memories you’ll probably only half remember the next day, UK Oktoberfest is the event for you. Prost! 🍻
