What we’re about

The guiding intention of this meetup group is to explore the practice of Hatha Yoga (asana / pranayama) and Raja Yoga (meditation), and hold a communal and supportive space for keeping our bodies and minds healthy, strong, and flexible, as well as more deeply relaxing and tuning into the natural clarity, openness, and presence that is Here.  Consistent yoga practice, meditation, and mindful living supports overall health, well-being, and quality of life, as well as offering increased clarity and space for greater insight and Self-knowledge to arise. The format of each gathering may vary slightly, though generally may include some, or all, of the following practices... yoga postures (asana), breath-work (pranayama), seated meditation, and discussion on the various different methods, aspects, and approaches to yoga and meditation. This group is open to all, regardless of how much experience with yoga, and / or seated meditation one might have.

Ben Dineen is a certified yoga instructor who has been offering various classes in the SF Bay Area since 2002, and has himself been a practitioner and explorer of Hatha and Raja Yoga since 1996.
