Looking for volunteers to practice spiritual life coaching on!
Details
Hello everybody. I hope you are all well!
I am currently training to be a spiritual life coach and need to do some practice sessions. If you live in Waldorf or are willing to come to Waldorf, and would like to give me an hour of your life, I would love to practice on you. I figure two or three volunteers will work to start off with. Doesnt have to be on this date - I just picked a date so I could put this as an "event."
If you are interested in letting me practice on you, please RSVP as "attending" to this invite, and I will contact you directly. You MUST come in person to Waldorf and will meet at my home (I have cats, dogs and parrot - so be warned if you have allergies).
NOTE - please check your private messages when you RSVP - it's pointless to say you want to do this, and then not respond! Thank you!
Thank you!
For those of you new to spiritual life coaching, a sample coaching session would encompass some or all of the following:
- Initial check-in: The session starts with a check-in on your progress since the last meeting and setting the agenda for the current session.
- Exploration and dialogue: A coach will ask thought-provoking questions to help you explore your values, beliefs, and inner world, as well as any challenges you are facing.
- Spiritual focus: The conversation integrates spiritual elements, which can include reconnecting with your intuition, exploring your purpose, and understanding your connection to something larger than yourself.
- Goal setting: You work together to define your goals and create a plan of action to achieve them, often focusing on creating a future vision that aligns with your deepest values.
- Tools and techniques: Coaches use various techniques, such as guided imagery, breathwork, mindfulness, or other practices like energy work or EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).
- Obstacle removal: The process helps identify and overcome limiting beliefs or other obstacles that are blocking your progress.
- Action steps and accountability: The session concludes with identifying specific action steps to take before the next meeting, with the coach providing accountability to follow through.
