What do we do with the mid-festive season downtime? We hike! Work off the excesses of Christmas and get in shape for New Year's celebrations by joining Andy on a hike in the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Join a local guide on a simply amazing small group tour of this circular hiking route in the Waterfalls area of the Brecon Beacons National Park. See a waterfall or two and explore the mutliple entrances to caves in this limestone area, and admire the scenic valleys and the forest landscapes.

Meet your guide at Cwm Porth Casr Park. You'll gain 300m of height on the 12.5km hike, which is often over rough, muddy and broken ground. For our hiking troubles, we get amazing scenic views of the park and wonderful memories of sparkling waterfalls and dark caverns.

The hike will be delivered by a fully qualified mountain leader who will know a great deal about both the waterfalls area and the Brecon Beacons National Park, and of course the mountains of Wales in general. They will describe what you are seeing and tell you a few tall tales along the way...

We have been delivering walks at this location for over thirty years, and our knowledge of the area and its natural environments will be ours to share with you as you take in the best valley walks in Brecon Beacons National Park!

We always advise taking a good packed lunch along with a flask of something warm.
