Cwmcarn Forest and Twmbarlum Hill Fort

We are back on Andy and Kate's home turf and wandering in the Gwent Valleys. Meeting at Cwmcarn Forest, where you can get breakfast if you're early enough, we'll be heading up one side of the valley to Mynydd Maen, almost all the way to Pontypool and then returning via the Cambrian Way and Twmbarlum. If we are quick enough, we'll have time for tea and cake when done :)

Know before you go

• Put a shout-out here for car sharing
• This tour will take place rain or shine
• You will climb 525m and hike 20km
• All walks are well behaved dog-friendly, and so if you have an issue with dogs, then these walks are likely not for you
• Although most levels of fitness can be accommodated, please be sensible when booking and know your own ability
