This is the first in a new, occasional series of hikes, delivered by leaders other than Andy. Designed by members, for members, and delivered in a similar format.

Amanda will be leading a hike that begins in the glorious village of Aberbeeg, where the rivers Ebbw and Ebbw Fach combine to form, you guessed it, the River Ebbw :) The hike takes you through woodland to the tops of both sides of the valley, first heading north towards Ebbw Vale and then south and back to the start point.

This hike is 22km and 670m of ascent, so, a tough day, but one that builds on our Valleys hikes and that will surprise you with the interest in the landscape and the industrial heritage of the area.

Use W3W's to find the meeting point - ///hazelnuts.umpires.courage or Google Maps - https://maps.app.goo.gl/YE6mKC1c1weAHh3y9

For monthly members, these hikes are not part of your package, and so all will need to register by either signing up here on meetup or to avoid paying fees to meetup by 'buying me a coffee' and messaging this event saying I paid, please add me.

All income from the hike goes to the leader, in this case, Amanda.

Please support this new initiative, which, if successful, will see this group delivering more of what you like to get up to at weekends :)
